Chair made of PET bottles
The mastery of upcyling plastic bottles, by Pawel Grunert
The SIE43 Chair was produced by Pawel Grunert for the "Eco Trans Pop" eco-design exhibition at the Colombari Gallery in Milan in 2009. The piece is made of plastic bottles held together by a stainless steel frame. The bottles can be easily extracted and replaced if damaged.
The ensemble transforms a plain everyday object like a PET bottle into a remarkable organic object.
